Connection and Parameter Setting of Volvo Industrial Engine

Connection of  Volvo Industrial Engine Control unit The control unit must be installed separately from the engine. Control unit working temperature must be between - 40 °C to +85 °C. Accelerator pedal (VE engines) Idling: 0-5 V (standard value 0.3 V) Full throttle: 0-5 V (default value 4.6 V) A fault code is generated when the voltage is: U > 4.9 V (standard value) U < 0.1 V (standard value) Engine speed potentiometer/external voltage input (GE engines) Rotary potentiometer for fine adjustment of engine speed (GE engines) On 1500 rpm or 1800 rpm GE engines, the Volvo engine speed can be finely adjusted ±5 %. A fault code is generated when the voltage is: U > 4.8 V (standard value) U < 0.2 V (standard value) This accelerator pedal/potentiometer corresponds to the control unit standard value (0.5 V or 4.5 V respectively). The end position resistor is used to detect electrical faults in the accelerator/potentiometer (end position resistors a

Diesel Generator Set Commissioning - Shangchai (SDEC Engine) Generating Set

Shangchai engine is Chinese engine brand. Engine Features: * The integral crankshaft, gantry type machine body, flat-cut connecting rod and short piston form an compact and reasonable appearance, with a strong adaptability. * The diesel engine adopts a new type of reentrant combustion chamber to increase the injection pressure and improve the combustion process to meet the environmental protection index. * Lubrication, cooling system optimization design , reducing the number of external pipelines and components. * The diesel engine adopts J98 and J114b exhaust gas turbocharger matching, which has strong plateau working ability. We can provide 55KW to 880KW 3 phase 4 wire 50Hz/60Hz Shangchai diesel generator set with various types.

Starlight Power Introduces Volvo Penta Engine Fault Codes

Fault Codes of Volvo Industrial Engine WARNING! Read the safety instructions for handling and service in chapter “Safety information” before starting work. NOTE: Reading the fault codes below, such as Code 2.1, PID /SPN 97, where 2.1 is a flash code indicated by a flashing diagnostic lamp. PID / SPN 97 is read with the VODIA diagnostic tool. When using DCU or DU, the fault code is displayed as plain text. For a further explanation, see “Reading fault codes”. NOTE: Please refer to “Wiring schedule CIU and DCU” for references to the sockets in the electrical connectors on the engine control unit. Code 1.1 No faults There are no active faults. Code 2.1, PID / SPN 97. Water in fuel Reason: • Water in fuel. Reaction: • None. Action: • Empty the fuel pre-filter. Code 2.2, PID / SPN 111. Coolant level Reason: • Low coolant level. Reaction: • Engine control module reduces engine power (unless the protection has been shut off with the VODIA di
