Diesel Generator Set Mechanical Blade Oil Transfer Pump Part 1

The function of the fuel pump is to increase the pressure of the oil in the fuel tank to overcome the resistance of the oil passing through the filter, and to continuously deliver diesel with a certain pressure and flow rate to the fuel injection pump. There are many structures of oil pumps, commonly including cycloidal rotor type, mechanical blade type, and plunger type. Dingbo Electric will introduce the structure and working principle of mechanical blade type oil transfer pumps and plunger type oil transfer pumps.

(1) Mechanical blade oil pump. The rotating shaft on the oil pump is not concentric with the inner hole of the eccentric steel cylinder. There are four straight grooves on the rotating cylinder, which are equipped with blades to divide the interior of the eccentric cylinder into three spaces of different volumes, A, B, and C. When the rotating drum rotates, the spatial volume of the three parts mentioned above changes accordingly, with part A increasing and part C decreasing. When the volume increases, a vacuum degree is generated, and fuel is sucked in from the inlet. When the volume decreases, the fuel is squeezed and sent out from the outlet. The fuel supply of the fuel pump is greater than the demand of the diesel engine, so the pressure at the outlet continues to rise. When the pressure rises to a certain level, overcome the pressure of the pressure regulating valve spring, open the pressure regulating valve, and the fuel flows back to the inlet from the pressure regulating valve, keeping the pressure of the fuel delivery pump within a certain range. When in use, the oil supply pressure of the fuel pump can be adjusted by adjusting the pressure screw.

Before starting the diesel engine, the fuel relies on the pressure generated by the height difference of the fuel tank level, overcomes the elastic force of the throttle valve spring, opens the throttle valve, and the fuel enters the fuel system through the small hole on the pressure reducing valve, enters the outlet, and is sent to the fuel system.

(2) The plunger type fuel transfer pump for diesel engines consists of a pump body, plunger, check valve, inlet valve, and hand pressure pump. The 4135 diesel engine fuel transfer pump is basically the same as the 4125 diesel engine fuel transfer pump. A plunger type fuel pump is essentially a combination of a piston and two one-way valves to ensure fuel supply. The fuel supply power can be manual or mechanically driven. Due to the mechanical driving force acting on the roller, it is sometimes also called a roller type fuel pump.

What Is the Difference Between Electric Motor and Electric Generator

An electric motor is an electrical machine that converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. Most electric motors operate through the interaction between the motor's magnetic field and winding currents to generate force. In certain applications, such as in regenerative braking with traction motors, electric motors can be used in reverse as generators to recover energy that might otherwise be lost as heat and friction. An electric generator operates in the reverse direction, converting mechanical energy into electrical energy. Electric generator can be divided into various type, open type, silent type, trailer type, portable type and container type, etc. Electric generator is mainly composed of diesel engine & alternator. Electric generator set is mainly composed of engine, alternator, control module, and common base. Electric generator :- Electric generator is a type of machine which converts mechanical input (energy) into electrical output (...

Baudouan Weichai 1530KW Diesel Generator Set 16M33 Series Engine

Weichai is the earliest enterprise in China to develop and produce generator sets, with a production history of over 60 years. It mainly produces land - based and marine generator sets, including diesel - type and gas - type units. Weichai's M33 series engines include 6M33, 12M33, and 16M33 diesel engines. These are high - power high - speed diesel engines independently developed by Weichai based on the mature product platform of Baudouin's M26 series in France. The development of this series of models fills the gap in Weichai's high - speed diesel engines for power generation in the 500 - 1530kW power range, enabling effective competition with foreign brands. The M33 series Weichai engines inherit and carry forward the advanced product development and design concepts of the French Baudouin M26. They are benchmarked against international advanced engines, effectively avoiding various design defects. The product development emphasizes high reliability and low emissions. Th...

How to Connect A Diesel Generator to Your House?

Diesel generators are fuel-efficient and reliable, which can almost meet the power needs of any application. If you want to power the whole house during power shortages, it’s a good choice to choose a diesel generator set as the backup electricity supply. But how to connect a diesel generator to your house? Read on and you will find the answer. Options to connect a diesel generator to your home   Keep in mind that never plug your generator directly into the mains, or it will cause back feeding, damage your appliances and be life-threatening for utility workers. Generally, you can choose to connect a generator to your house by using extension cords or a transfer switch. Understanding the difference between them is helpful for you to choose the right type. Extension cords   Typically, extension cords are suitable for smaller diesel generators that used for short term. They require no installation and are cost-effective. If you need to power only some basic appliances such as...
