1500KW Cummins Marathon Containerized Silent Diesel Generator Set 3

Continuing from the previous text, this article continues to introduce the technical specifications and quotation of the 1500KW Cummins Shanghai Marathon containerized silent diesel generator set.

Diesel Engine Unit

·Diesel Engine Unit: Cummins brand KTA50-G15 engine, four-stroke, 12 cylinders, turbocharged, electronically regulated.

·Cooling Method: Water-cooled. The engine is equipped with a fan and a water tank for cooling.

·Diesel System: The Cummins KTA15-G15 the Cummins standard diesel system.

·Lubricating Oil Performance: It is recommended to refer to the standard lubricating oil configuration of the Cummins engine.

·Air Filter Element: Original Cummins air filter element

.Generator Part

·Generator: Marathon single-pivot brushless self-excited generator, motor model MX - 1540 - 4, main power of the motor is 1540KW / 1925KVA;

·Voltage: 230/400V; Frequency: 50Hz; Power factor: 0.8pf; Brushless (self-excited) excitation method.

·Motor: High-temperature insulation, energy-saving, and overload-resistant. The voltage and capacity of the DC system shall meet the requirements of the unit.

·Generator Protections: The generator shall have protective actions for generator short-circuit faults, generator overcurrent, generator grounding faults, generator loss of excitation, generator overvoltage, generator excitation circuit grounding, and other generator protections. In addition to the electrical protection requirements, the generator set control system has a number of typical alarm and shutdown functions.

·Generator Control System:

·Configure sufficient current transformers, relay protection systems, instrument measurements, etc. to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the diesel engine unit.

·The generator set control system, that is, the generator set control box, is arranged in the low-noise box of the low-noise generator for the convenience of operators to operate and monitor.

·The unit control system has main functions (not limited to these): Manual/automatic start and stop of the generator; Load control; Oil temperature and water temperature detection and alarm, etc. When the main power supply fails, the generator set can start automatically within 3 seconds; It can operate normally at full load (with all emergency loads) within 8 - 15 seconds. When the main power supply resumes normal, the generator set stops operating and returns to the emergency start state.

.Switchgear: The generator set is equipped with a switchgear for on-site protection. 3200A ABB 3P draw-out type circuit breaker.

The equipment is required to adopt the internationally renowned brand ABB with mature technology, which is suitable for this generator equipment.

4.2 Technical Regulations for Cummins Silent Generator Set

Please refer to the technical parameters of the generator set (Cummins KTA50-G15 engine paired with Marathon MP100-4 generator).

V. Tests

.All Cummins silent generator sets are subject to factory tests before leaving the factory. The buyer is welcome to visit the factory to observe the commissioning process. The tests can be completed under the supervision of the owner or a person authorized by the owner, and a test report will be issued.

.The on-site tests shall be organized by the owner, and the supplier shall provide necessary cooperation.

VI. Packaging and Transportation

6.1 Packaging

The generator set is delivered naked (with a container shell, no additional packaging is required). The supplier is responsible for transportation. The freight will be listed separately according to the delivery address provided by the owner and is not included in the price of the generator set. The owner is responsible for the loading and unloading of the unit at the place of use.

6.2 Transportation Requirements

.The transportation destination shall be designated by the owner. The product shall be firmly fixed and positioned during transportation.

.The safety and maintenance of the generator set during transportation shall be carried out in accordance with the transportation plan provided by the manufacturer. The transportation plan shall be provided to the owner for review and approval before transportation.

.The internal structure of the product shall remain in the same relative position and the fasteners shall not loosen after normal railway and road transportation.

.The product body, detachable components that can be assembled into a set, spare parts, and special tools shall not be lost, damaged, dampened, or corroded during transportation.

6.3 Loading and Unloading Requirements

The product body, detachable components that can be assembled into a set, and other shipped parts shall be equipped with lifting devices that can bear the overall weight.
