Electronic Control Distribution Pump Fuel System Diesel Engine

The high efficiency and energy-saving of diesel generators have made the diesel engine of automobiles increasingly apparent. The electronic fuel injection system is currently the main development feature of diesel engines and a powerful means to meet stricter emission regulations.

With the implementation of Euro III and IV emission standards, it is required to increase the pump end pressure of the distribution pump to over 100MPa. The original mechanical structure of the distribution pump can no longer meet the above requirements, and the mechanical structure of the distribution pump is facing new changes. A new type of VP44 internal cam electronic control distribution pump has been developed on the market. It adopts an internal cam, radial opposed plunger oil supply, and a distribution rotor rotating distribution structure. Using high-speed solenoid valves to directly control the high-pressure fuel supply. The pump end pressure is 100MPa, and by utilizing the pressure wave effect formed in the high-pressure oil pipe, the fuel injection pressure can reach 180MPa.

The fuel supply advance angle is controlled by a high-speed solenoid valve and can control the fuel supply rate and pre injection. At the same time, the hydraulic efficiency of this pump has reached a fully optimized level, and the power of the diesel generator equipped with this pump is much higher than that of the diesel engine equipped with a conventional distribution pump, but its peak driving torque is still at the same level.

The VP44 electronic distribution pump initially used three radial opposed plungers for oil supply, with a plunger diameter of 6.0mm and a cam lift of 3.5mm. Later, in order to increase the fuel injection pressure under partial load, it was improved to use two radially opposed plungers for fuel supply. The plunger diameter was increased to 7.0mm, and the cam lift was increased to 4.0mm. The maximum fuel supply for each cycle is 40-50mL, with a pre injection fuel volume between 1-3mL and an idle fuel injection volume of 4-5mL. The maximum fuel supply advance angle is 15 ° (oil pump shaft angle). It is generally suitable for diesel generators with 3, 4, 5, and 6 cylinders, a single cylinder displacement of less than 1L, and a maximum power of less than 250kw, and can meet the requirements of Euro III and Euro IV emission standards.

In order to further reduce emissions under partial loads, in addition to the measures taken by the oil pump, significant improvements have also been made to the fuel injectors: for the first time, a small pressure chamber type fuel injector and a dual directional needle valve have been adopted, greatly improving the formation of fuel jets, especially in the case of small fuel injection volume and needle valve lift under partial loads.

Baudouan Weichai 1530KW Diesel Generator Set 16M33 Series Engine

Weichai is the earliest enterprise in China to develop and produce generator sets, with a production history of over 60 years. It mainly produces land - based and marine generator sets, including diesel - type and gas - type units. Weichai's M33 series engines include 6M33, 12M33, and 16M33 diesel engines. These are high - power high - speed diesel engines independently developed by Weichai based on the mature product platform of Baudouin's M26 series in France. The development of this series of models fills the gap in Weichai's high - speed diesel engines for power generation in the 500 - 1530kW power range, enabling effective competition with foreign brands. The M33 series Weichai engines inherit and carry forward the advanced product development and design concepts of the French Baudouin M26. They are benchmarked against international advanced engines, effectively avoiding various design defects. The product development emphasizes high reliability and low emissions. Th...

How to Connect A Diesel Generator to Your House?

Diesel generators are fuel-efficient and reliable, which can almost meet the power needs of any application. If you want to power the whole house during power shortages, it’s a good choice to choose a diesel generator set as the backup electricity supply. But how to connect a diesel generator to your house? Read on and you will find the answer. Options to connect a diesel generator to your home   Keep in mind that never plug your generator directly into the mains, or it will cause back feeding, damage your appliances and be life-threatening for utility workers. Generally, you can choose to connect a generator to your house by using extension cords or a transfer switch. Understanding the difference between them is helpful for you to choose the right type. Extension cords   Typically, extension cords are suitable for smaller diesel generators that used for short term. They require no installation and are cost-effective. If you need to power only some basic appliances such as...

What Should You Pay Attention to in Routine Maintenance of Diesel Generator Sets

In modern society, the stability of power supply is directly related to the operation efficiency of enterprises and people's quality of life. Diesel generators have become an indispensable backup power supply or main power source in various industries due to their high efficiency, durability and reliability. However, to ensure the smooth operation and optimal performance of the generator sets, regular maintenance is essential. Here is what you need to pay attention to in the routine maintenance of diesel generators. Keep your generator clean It’s important to keep the generator’s exterior and the generator room clean. Regularly remove any dirt, dust, or debris that may accumulate to on the generator’s surface. This is not only for the sake of beauty, but also for the smooth operation of the unit. Cleaning the generator’s exterior, air intake vents, exhaust outlets and generator room can effectively reduce the risk of generator overheating. In addition, check if the connection bol...
