Correction of Connecting Rod Bending of Yuchai Diesel Generator Set

Once the connecting rod of Yuchai diesel generator set is bent, it not only reduces its own strength, but also makes the piston group of Yuchai diesel generator set mismatched with the cylinder, bringing abnormal longitudinal wear to the piston group and the cylinder. The bending test of the connecting rod of Yuchai diesel generator set is carried out on the connecting rod corrector. According to the hole diameter of the connecting rod bearing of Yuchai diesel generator set, select a suitable expansion pair to install into the mandrel, and install the connecting rod big end bearing cap. At this time, the bearing is not installed. Tighten it to the specified torque and install the matching piston pin. Then put the big end of the connecting rod of Yuchai diesel generator set into the core shaft of the corrector, turn the adjusting nut, and the core shaft will deflect.

The function of the curved cam is to gradually expand the expansion, fit it with the large end hole of the connecting rod to the appropriate tightness, and fix the connecting rod in the appropriate position. If the slot seat position is incorrect, it can be adjusted so that the piston pin of Yuchai diesel generator set is close to the top of the slot seat. If the gap between the two sides is different, the greater the difference between the gap between the two sides, the greater the bending of the connecting rod. When the clearance error on both sides exceeds 0.05-0.1mm, it should be corrected. According to the inspection results, determine the direction and degree of bending of the connecting rod of Yuchai diesel generator set, and then correct it. The bending correction of Yuchai diesel generator set is usually carried out by the auxiliary tool on the connecting rod corrector. According to the bending direction of the connecting rod of Yuchai diesel generator set, clamp the special correction tool on the vice.


Before correcting the connecting rod, the BHF should be checked. Because the connecting rod of Yuchai diesel generator set has residual stress after bending or torsion, although it was pressed well at that time, repeated deformation may occur. In order to solve this problem, the connecting rod of Yuchai diesel generator set can be heated to 150-200 ℃ in oil for correction to eliminate or reduce the residual stress when the connecting rod of Yuchai diesel generator set bends and twists. When the bending deformation of the connecting rod of Yuchai diesel generating set is very small, this work cannot be carried out after calibration. Without the connecting rod corrector, other simple tools (such as bench tongs) can also be used for calibration.
